GREAT PAIR OF BOOTS!! I love these boots!!!! Ive seen other soldiers in my unit with them on and they always rave about how they were light, comfortable, and feel like a regular shoe so I had to try them out and they were right. Ive been in the Army little over 6 years and I wish I had these from day one. These now are the only boots I will wear. Please Nike dont discontinue these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Boots! This was the first time I ever ordered any shoes on line. I always have to try it on first. However, I read some reviews that explained that if you own a pair of Nike Free Run + 2 running shoes, just go with the same size. I normally don't like Nike running shoes because they run small in width. But, my Nike Free running shoes fit great in width and these boots fit and feel great too, just like my running shoes. The only thing, I usually wear 11.5, but in Nike Free 12. Over all, after 18 years in the Marine Corps and the Army this is probably the lightest and the most comfortable boots I ever wore. I have guys in my unit wearing Rocky C4s ($108.00) and it's a great boot, comes in wide too; however, I couldn't try it on and therefore I didn't want to risk it. Another point to make, someone wrote they are wearing these boots on deployment, I wouldn't. It's a garrison boot. If you are wearing them on deployment your are probably "Fobbit" chilling inside the wire by the Greenbean. On the ragged terrain with some gear you defiantly need something sturdy preferably with the shank. I had Oakley boos on my last deployment, but to me they run kind of narrow. Next time I'll try Rocky S2V ($189.00), heard nothing but great reviews.
Bottom line, Nike SFB's are great boot for garrison and for PT in ACUs (combatives, obstacle course, road march). Like I said, it's like wearing Nike Free running shoes. Good luck in your shopping to all!

Best Boot Ever Worn! I had to buy a new pair of boots after my previous ones had been torn apart on missions. As soon as I took the boots out of the box, I used them in a 4km dismounted patrol through the city. The lightness and comfort are unmatched. It's nice to feel the breeze through the boots when its 145 outside. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
